Set up your EP1 device in Home Assistant
WiFi Requirement: The EP1 only supports 2.4GHz WiFi networks. 5GHz networks are not supported. Make sure you connect to a 2.4GHz network during setup.
If your EP1 device isn't appearing in the Home Assistant app, you may need to update its firmware. To update your device, go to Restore or Update your EP1 to factory settings using a computer and follow the instructions.

Add Everything Presence One to Home Assistant
Make sure your Home Assistant instance is updated to the latest version to ensure compatibility with your EP1 device.
Plug your EP1 device into power. You should see a flashing red light, indicating that the device is on.
Open the Home Assistant app on your mobile device and navigate to Settings → Devices & Services.
Look for a new device labeled 'everything-pr-xxxxxx' (Improv via BLE) and tap Add.
Enter the Wi-Fi credentials for the network you want the device to connect to.
Once you see the message "Wi-Fi connected successfully", you can close the prompt.
Your Everything Presence One is now ready to be added to Home Assistant using the ESPHome integration.
Try This Now
Once your EP1 is connected, try this quick test:
In Home Assistant, go to Settings → Devices & Services → ESPHome
Click on your EP1 device
Find the Occupancy sensor
Walk in front of the sensor and watch the state change from "Clear" to "Detected"
If the state changes when you move, your EP1 is working correctly!
