If your device gets stuck on "Preparing installation", follow these steps:

Try a different USB port

Unplug your device and connect it to another USB port on your computer. Then, restart the installation.

Press the BOOT button

If the issue persists, open your sensor and, while the "Preparing installation" screen is displayed, press the BOOT button once on the device. Your device should now proceed with the installation. If it still doesn’t proceed you can hold down the boot button for 3-5 seconds whilst on the “Preparing Installation” phase.
