Pro Features
The Everything Presence Pro combines both sensor types: the LD2450 (like EPL) for multi-target tracking AND the SEN0609 (like EP1) for long-range static presence, plus environmental sensors and PIR motion.
Live Tracking Dashboard
The Pro dashboard shows:
Target positions - Colored dots representing each detected person (from LD2450)
Movement trails - Optional trails showing recent movement paths
Zone overlays - Visual representation of configured zones
Field of view cone - Sensor coverage visualization
Static presence indicator - Long-range detection status (from SEN0609)
Zone Detection
Pro supports up to 4 detection zones plus 2 exclusion masks:
Zones trigger occupancy when a target enters
Exclusion masks ignore targets in specified areas
Both rectangular and polygon zone shapes are supported
Entry/Exit Detection
Entry/Exit detection is not yet available for Pro. This feature is currently supported on EPL only.
Heatmap & Analytics
View aggregate movement patterns over time to understand how spaces are used.
Trail Recording
Capture movement paths as a visual trail to debug tracking accuracy and zone placement.
Pro-Specific Sensors
The Pro includes sensors from both EPL and EP1:
Sensor | Description |
|---|---|
Temperature | Room temperature (may need calibration offset) |
Humidity | Relative humidity percentage |
Illuminance | Light level in lux |
CO2 | Air quality in ppm (requires optional module) |
PIR Motion | Instant motion detection |
Target Data (per target)
Entity | Description |
|---|---|
X position | Horizontal position in mm |
Y position | Distance from sensor in mm |
Speed | Movement speed in m/s |
Distance | Direct distance from sensor in mm |
Angle | Angle from sensor center |
Active | Whether target is currently detected |
EPL Features
The EPL uses the LD2450 mmWave sensor which provides real-time coordinate tracking of up to 3 targets simultaneously.
Live Tracking Dashboard
The main EPL view shows:
Target positions - Colored dots representing each detected person
Movement trails - Optional trails showing recent movement paths
Zone overlays - Visual representation of configured zones
Field of view cone - Sensor coverage visualization
Zone Detection
EPL supports up to 4 detection zones plus 2 exclusion masks:
Zones trigger occupancy when a target enters
Exclusion masks ignore targets in specified areas
Both rectangular and polygon zone shapes are supported
Entry/Exit Detection
EPL can detect when someone enters or exits through a doorway by tracking their movement path through entry zones.
Heatmap & Analytics
View aggregate movement patterns over time to understand how spaces are used.
Trail Recording
Capture movement paths as a visual trail to debug tracking accuracy and zone placement.
Target Data (per target)
Entity | Description |
|---|---|
X position | Horizontal position in mm |
Y position | Distance from sensor in mm |
Speed | Movement speed in m/s |
Distance | Direct distance from sensor in mm |
Angle | Angle from sensor center |
Active | Whether target is currently detected |
EP1 Features
The EP1 uses a different mmWave sensor (SEN0609 or SEN0395) that provides single-point presence detection rather than coordinate tracking. It also includes environmental sensors not found on the EPL.
EP1 Dashboard
When you select an EP1 device, Zone Configurator displays a specialized dashboard focused on environmental monitoring and presence status.
Environmental Sensors
EP1 includes sensors that EPL does not have:
Sensor | Description |
|---|---|
Temperature | Current room temperature (configurable offset) |
Humidity | Relative humidity percentage |
Illuminance | Light level in lux |
CO2 | Air quality in ppm (requires optional module) |
Comfort Panel
The Comfort Panel analyzes temperature and humidity to provide:
Comfort level - Overall assessment (Comfortable, Too Hot, Too Cold, etc.)
Dew point - Calculated dew point temperature
Feels like - Heat index / perceived temperature
Temperature zone - Visual indicator on a comfort scale
Humidity zone - Visual indicator showing dry to humid range
Sensor Comparison: mmWave vs PIR
EP1 has both mmWave and PIR sensors. The dashboard shows how each responds:
mmWave sensor:
Detects stationary presence (sitting, sleeping)
Single-point distance measurement (not X/Y tracking)
May detect through thin walls
PIR sensor:
Detects motion only (not stationary presence)
Very fast response time
Cannot detect through walls
The main "Occupancy" entity combines both sensors. Use individual sensor entities if you need:
PIR for motion-triggered lighting (instant response)
mmWave for presence-based automation (stationary detection)
Activity Log
Real-time log of sensor events:
Presence on/off changes
mmWave detection events
PIR motion events
Session duration tracking
Time since last change
Today's Statistics
Daily statistics tracked while the dashboard is open:
Occupancy percentage - Time room was occupied vs total tracking time
Detection events - Number of times presence was triggered
Average temperature - Mean temperature with min/max range
Tracking time - How long the dashboard has been monitoring
Statistics are stored locally in the browser and reset daily.
What EP1 Cannot Do in Zone Configurator
Because EP1 doesn't provide X/Y coordinate tracking:
No zone creation or detection
No multi-target tracking
No heatmap visualization
No trail recording
No entry/exit detection
For these features, use a Pro or EPL device instead.
Room Builder with All Devices
Room Builder works with Pro, EPL, and EP1:
Draw room layouts with walls, doors, and furniture
Position the sensor icon to match your installation
Visualize the field of view
With Pro and EPL, you'll see targets moving on your room layout. With EP1, the room layout is for visualization only since there's no coordinate tracking.
