Connect Everything Presence One to Samsung SmartThings

Once the SmartThings Edge Driver is installed, follow these steps to connect your Everything Presence One (EP1) to Samsung SmartThings.

Add EP1 to SmartThings



  1. Open the SmartThings app and go to the Devices menu.

  2. Tap the + button to add a new device.

  3. Select Scan for Nearby Devices.

  4. After a few seconds, the app will automatically detect the EP1 and add it to your hub.

    • This process uses mDNS, which should work by default on most networks. If your device isn’t discovered, check your network settings to ensure mDNS is enabled.

  5. To rename the device, tap Rename, enter a new name, and save.

  6. Return to the Devices menu, where you’ll see your newly added EP1. Tap it to view available sensors and settings.
