# Connect button does not appear on flashing page

If the **Connect** button is missing on the flashing page, your web browser may not support Web Serial.

# To check compatibility


1. Visit [What Web Can Do Today](https://whatwebcando.today/serial.html).
2. Click **Connect via Serial Port**.
3. If you don’t see a green checkmark and "Supported" your browser doesn’t support Web Serial.

Try again using a Chromium-based browser, such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
