Add the Samsung SmartThings Edge Driver

To use your EP1 with Samsung SmartThings, you’ll need to install the SmartThings Edge Driver.

Install the Driver

The SmartThings Edge Driver is currently in Beta, so you'll need to add it to your SmartThings account:

  1. Click this link to accept the invitation to the Everything Presence One driver.

  2. Log in to your Samsung account, if prompted.

  3. Click Accept to add the EP1 driver to your account.

  4. Click Enroll to proceed.

  5. Select Available Drivers and then click Install.


It may take up to 24 hours for the driver to appear in your SmartThings Hub once added. This delay is a feature of the SmartThings Platform.
